You have a fixed amount of time today. Not unlimited. Every hour you spend on what's urgent is an hour you don't have for what matters. Most people fill their days with tasks that feel pressing but leave them no closer to who they want to become.
This activity cuts through that noise. It asks one question: What must happen today for this day to actually count?
Clarity begins with honesty. Take a moment and answer these three questions. Don't overthink. Your gut knows the answer.
Not the image. Not what sounds good. What do you genuinely want your next five years to look like?
Who do you want to show up for? What do you want to build with them?
What changes would make you truer to yourself? What personal transformation matters to you right now?
With your direction clear, identify the one or two actions that, if completed today, will move you toward that life.
Ask yourself: What must happen today?
Three smaller steps: Then name three smaller steps that will get you there.
That's your day. Everything else is noise.
Planning vs. Reacting: Will you proactively plan your day around these meaningful actions, or will you let the day happen to you?
If you don't intentionally protect time for what matters most today, what will likely happen instead?
Your commitment: When will you dedicate focused time to your meaningful actions today?
